Imprinted Concrete

Pattern imprinted concrete is seen more and more these days as homeowners look for harder wearing surfaces for their driveways or patios. 

Although, imprinted concrete is a very hard wearing surface it still needs ongoing maintenance to stop it losing its surface colour over time. It should be cleaned regularly and ideally re-sealed every 3-4 years. The sealer will help to protect the surface from staining and future loss of colour.

Cleaning can generally be done quicker than on block paving as there is no sand involved. Any live growth, such as algae or moss, tends to sit on the surface and can be easily removed with our powerful pressure cleaning equipment.

In addition to sealing the patterned imprinted concrete with Smartseal imprinted concrete sealer, we can also 're-tint' the surface if necessary to restore the original colouring if it has faded over time.
