Block Paving Cleaning

Our machines are purposely designed to restore hard working surfaces by providing a unique deep cleaning system, effective enough to remove unsightly tyre marks, most oil stains, weeds, moss and slippery algae.

The majority of driveways and patios are constructed with various types of block paving. This surface is very porous unless it is sealed, plus the joints between the blocks make it easy for weeds to flourish if not maintained regularly. 

Before cleaning a block paved surface, we would treat the area first with weed killer or fungicidal wash to kill off any live growth. Our powerful  pressure cleaning equipment will then be able to quickly remove any dirt or weeds that may have appeared on the surface of the block paving over time. 

After leaving sufficient time for the block paving to dry, any kiln dried sand displaced during cleaning is swept back into the joints. We will then spray two coats of Smartseal block paving sealer onto the surface to  provide for longer term protection to the blocks.
